Area C
As Area C, Providence’s Erik Carlson makes beautiful, somnambulant guitar-based drones. His music is full of slow, gentle shifts in texture and melody and explores the finer points of repetition and decay.
This Thursday, November 13, Carlson will perform live on Rare Frequency (his set will start at around 8 p.m.). I wrote a short article on Area C for the Phoenix a while back, which you can find here.
Area C will perform on Friday, November 14 with Brendan Murray at White Electric Coffee in Providence.
